Cameron Crowe and his great taste in music

Trent Reznor is a household name when it comes to rebelling against the fatcoats of the music industry. In May 2007 [source Wikipedia], he accussed Universal Music Group of ripping the fans off with their absurd pricing of the distribution of their album Year Zero. This transpired Trent to urge his fans to steal his music online instead of purchasing it legally. In 2008, his band Nine Inch Nails performed one of the most amazing shows as part of their "Lights in the Sky" North America Tour. The show was a mix of audio feast and visual wizardry which I have never thought possible. The video below has got to be one of the best visuals I have ever seen performed live.

"Singles" was my first Cameron Crowe movie. It was a movie about six of Seattle's youths and whose lives revolve around the city's ever expanding music scene. It was showcased at a time when Seattle musio/scene was at its bulgening stage and the soundtrack is a grunge's fanatic dream, with bands like Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and Mudhoney headlining the discography.
